  i'm not going to get into much details but i'm just so depressed today.

  today i feel like i'm living in a personal hell.

  i have been sinking into this depression lately and it seems like it's starting to consume me.

  I too find i'm often feeling so low and wonder what the point of life is, and often its not for any really good reason such as: bad health, death of a loved one, loss of home or job etc, I just feel out of sorts and my outlook is negative, take comfort in knowing your not alone in these feelings and its good that you have spoken about them, clarity often comes from talking about it, there need not be any solutions either, just sharing it helps to slot all the pieces of how you feel into place. And as others have said, another day will feel completely different to this one. Try listening to some upbeat music, take good rest, plan to do something you like, maybe read a book you like, take a long bath, go for a walk, you know what you like to do.

  My thoughts are with you, like so many others on this board

  it all starts after you hear "these things we pray through jesus christ, amen".

  i gather my books and the kid's books and put them away.

  by that time people are walking over to us and talking to my wife and playing with my kids.

  Although I am DF myself, I've never had to go through what you have. I feel that the whole process is to grind you down and make you so low that you either disappear or if you survive it are so submissive that they have full control over you again...at least for a time. I'm guessing your staying for your family? Its a noble cause, but maybe not one that is true to yourself, only you know the answer to that. I wish you well with your endurance of this situation, please feel free to vent as often as you like, you will find some really kind and compasionate people here, that wont judge you whatever you do.

  OMG Trev in hospital now!

  trev (dedpoet) experienced breeathing difficulties during the night, and i had to call for an emergency ambulance.

  he was kept in overnight, and is still there under observation.

  he was conscious and breathing normally when i left him around 30 minutes ago, having been breathing through an oxygen mask earlier.

  it has been fascinating to read all your experiences and to know that the stuff that i thought was odd, was thought odd by others as well.. two things made me leave:.

  Hi there and welcome,

  Interesting your observations of its who you know, the politics of the congregation was a big factor for me in shaking the JW mindset off. As a male I was expected to 'reach out' and become like those who lorded it over the R & F. As usual, where as the Bible called such ones the servants of the congregation, in the modern JW congregation they are the masters. I knew i could never be a part of that, controlling people's actions and faith by traditions of men.

  New Tracts fill Recycling bins

  i thought the jws would never visit my appartement bloc...but they finally did.. i came home yesterday night to find one of the new tract folded a few times and inside my mailbox.

  i was really excited of course, but a bit dissapointed that i wasn't there to get it directly from them.

  i looked around the other boxes, and it seems like the dubs just left one to everyone without even trying to knock.

  if memory serves, isn't this the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the name "jehovah's witnesses"?

  has the society made much of this?
